EVENTS in WINTER SEASON

Kanin/Sella Nevea is a freeride paradise located in the hearth of Julian Alps just outside of the Trigav National Park. Bovec on the Slovenian side of the mountain is a base for skiing on Kanin. As the two resorts are connected, it gives us a good freeriding options during the whole season.

KANIN SKI RENT & SERVICE is located on the upper station (D) of the cable car to Kanin ski center. Ski service is intended for basic repairs of ski equipment. If you need skis, helmet, ski boots or ski gloves you can rent them with no problem. We have equipment for children and adults.

Kanin - Sella Nevea offers skiers, snowboarders and freeriders a special experience. Excellent snow conditions allow the ski season to expand till the end of April or begining of May. Most of the slopes are more suitable for experienced skiers, however both sides of the ski area also offer flatter terrain for beginners.

Prestreljenik Restaurant is the highest restaurant in Slovenia operating throughout the year. Nesting on Kanin Ski Resort is offering panoramic views unlike anywhere else. From Julian Alps with Slovenian highest peak Triglav to the Adriatic Sea.

Kanin SKI BUM BAR is our »winter - sunny beach« & a party place. Our guests stops here cos of good vibes, the best hamburgers & hotdogs, friendly stuff, nice music… At the station A of a cable car to Kanin you'll find Pub Kaninske Legende.

Ski Bus shuttle service BOVEC runs to and from the lower cable car station »A Station« and is organized for hotels guests and apartments guests in Bovec area.

From the Kanin launch point it is possible to paraglide towards the Boka waterfall and all the way towards Tolmin, as well as to the east, in the heart of the Julian Alp. The landing point is located near Bovec (Bovec-BREG). There are also windbreaks on the launch point and landing point. Limitation : 2900m above the ground. Bovec sports airport is nearby.
