date: 28.06.2017

The limestone Kanin Range is, due to its ski slopes and karst features, one of the most interesting parts of the upper Soča valley. It is a part of the western Julian Alps. Both sides of the range encompass characteristic high-mountain plateaus full of karst landforms and glacial phenomena. The highest mountain plateau is Kaninski podi, part of which is Prestreljeniški podi with its upper cableway station, restaurant and ski slopes.
